Cisco Confidential 5G Intent Based Networking (UDC Unified Domain Center) L''Intent Based Networking è una piattaforma innovativa in ambito Industrial IoT/Industry 4.0/M2M che permette di configurare in modo differenziato le future Reti 5G per soddisfare al meglio le esigenze del Business del cliente finale.
Ad esempio, la Rete 5G da utilizzare per il controllo in tempo reale dei robot in fabbrica sarà diversa da quella che si usa per i tele-contatori gas dove i requisiti di velocità (latenza) sono estremamente inferiori.
I requisiti di business guideranno le configurazioni tecnologiche e prestazionali della Rete 5G offerte nei vari e diversi contesti business; questo consente una riduzione dei tempi e dei costi di configurazione delle reti 5G.
