Carreau fluid model for blood flow through a tapered artery with a stenosis

Blood flow analysis of Carreau fluid model in tapered stenosed arteries is discussed. Analytical solution have been evaluated using regular perturbation technique and Homotopy analysis method. The main points of the performed analysis are as follows. We observed that with an increase in We Weissenberg number which is the ratio of the relaxation time of the fluid and a specific process time so by increasing Weissenberg number there will be increase in relaxation time and when we relax time flow can move easily and velocity field increases.
